No, we're not talking about the full-lipped wonder getting pregnant again with one of the hottest men on the planet. We are actually talking about the couple planning to adopt another child to add to their ever expanding brood. This time, the new kid is said to come from the recently earthquake ravaged province of Sichuan, China.

According to reports, Jolie wanted to find a Chinese child to be added to her family. This is due to the fact that she felt so saddened by the recent earthquake disaster in China, and the one way she felt she could help would be to take one of the victims of such a disaster into her fold. She is so determined to find a Chinese child orphaned by the earthquake that she has asked contacts in the UN to help her find one.

Jolie just gave birth to twin babies last July 12 and both babies, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, joined a family that is already composed of four other children, Shiloh, Zahara, Pax and Maddox. If they do get to adopt a Chinese orphan, the kid will definitely live the good life since it has been rumoured that the famous Hollywood couple sold the twins' baby pictures to People Magazine for a whopping $14 million!

It should be pointed out that Jolie did earn less that Pitt's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston the past year. However, she is still one of the most bankable stars in Hollywood and adopting a few more children to add to her ever growing family or even getting pregnant with Brad again won't really make that much of a dent in the star's finances.

She said Lila Grace can carry on a conversation with adults because she is confident.  One of the qualities parents often forget to instil by example in the minds and hearts of their children is respect. _The Stand Up to Cancer campaign will soon benefit from a great collaboration of the biggest female names in the music industry, who will be recording the vocals of a single titled “Just Stand Up”.  This unequalled gathering of stars will feature such great vocals as Mariah Carey, Fergie, Rihanna, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Miley Cyrus, Natasha Bedingfield, Ashanti, Leona Lewis, Ciara, LeAnn Rimes, Keyshia Cole and Carrie Underwood.

The production of the song is headed by the powerhouse duo of Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and Antonio “LA” Reid.

On September 2nd, people who want to buy “Just Stand Up” will be able to purchase it exclusively from iTunes. On September 5th, the song will have its TV premiere during the live special of “Just Stand Up”. This commercial-free airing will be shown simultaneously on ABC, CBS and NBC.

Based on the press release that announced the project, the song’s conception was done by Reid, who is the Island Def Jam Music Group’s chairman. The birth of the song came after Reid’s meeting with the women who are working behind the campaign of Stand Up to Cancer.

During the TV broadcast, there will be famous actors and actresses who will make guest appearances or answer phone calls. So far, those who have given their confirmation are Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Christina Applegate, Kirsten Dunst, Salma Hayek, Meryl Streep, Scarlett Johansson, Hilary Swank, Forest Whitaker and Charlize Theron, among others.

__Pregnancy always brings cravings with it and people can never know what to expect from a particular pregnant woman. In the case of Alison Sweeney, all she craves are sweets. Sweeney told People Magazine during an auction of jeans donated by celebrities for Clothes Off Our Back on August 26 that this is totally contradictory to her previous pregnancy, when she only craved for “savoury” foods.

Alison said that her doctor had recommended that she buy fruits from the local farmers’ market to help her battle her sweet tooth. Because of this, she bought a cantaloupe. However, the Days of Our Lives actress revealed that she had to “stop myself from eating the whole thing”.

Alison, who is also the host of The Biggest Loser, says that she is just happy to be able to finally look at food again and not feel sick. This is because her morning sickness was so “brutal” during the first months of her pregnancy that she was not able to eat even her favourite foods. The actress said that all she wanted for two months was Cheerios, and those were all that she ever ate.

However, now that the morning sickness is over, Alison is concentrating on continuing to stay healthy for the rest of her pregnancy.

MTV Video Music Awards will be minus a performance from Britney Spears. This was reported by Ryan Seacrest last Monday morning on his show “On Air with Ryan Seacrest”.

Quoting Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph, Seacrest said that, “She will not be performing at the VMAs. I’m telling you officially”.

Based on the reports made by Seacrest, he was told by Rudolph that Spears is in the middle of the recording of her next album. The singer’s manager said that the recording is “going amazingly well”. He also added that Spears “was never supposed to perform at the show”.

Rumours of a performance at the VMAs started to surface right after Spears started appearing with host Russell Brand in promotional spots for the awards show. It was also said that the pop star’s hairstylist Kim Vo had told E! that he has three hairstyles already planned for Spears for the show that is slated to be held on September 7.

Vo said that he has a hairstyle for the red carpet, another one to be sported on the show itself and a third one for a performance, which he described as “quintessential Britney”.

Based on statements from MTV, Spears, who is known to be the VMAs’ Susan Lucci, is up for three awards on this year’s show. These are for her “Piece of Me” video. A win this year, in any category that she has been nominated for, would be the first for Britney after being nominated 16 times over the previous years.

Britney Spears seems to be bouncing back in a positive way after a disastrous few years with her hubby and her wrong career moves. Included in the list of positive moves that the once lauded pop princess had taken is the first all-out interview she had with OK! Magazine. She also made the respectable cover picture for the same publication.

She told people in the magazine about her controversial life these past few years, with insights on her divorce with back-up dancer hubby Kevin Federline, about the pain of losing custody of her two sons, about her sister Jamie Lyn getting pregnant and about the rather devastating fall from grace she experienced in her career. She also revealed her thoughts on her acting career and her plans to continue with it.

Britney also told readers about her latest album and she said that it is probably going to be one of her best works yet. While that remains to be seen, Britney is confident of the music she is creating. She will be releasing her new album a few months from now. After the disastrous and rather lacklustre album she turned out on her supposed comeback attempt last year, this album should be something worth looking forward to.

While there are rumours that she will be performing a surprise number in this year's VMAs, her manager strongly denies the speculation. You may remember the rather embarrassing performance she did for the same awards ceremony last year, when she performed in less than tiptop shape.

Sarah Jessica Parker is a puzzling individual. She is fine about acting in a sexually explicit television series like Sex and The City but she won’t take off her bra for the show.  She works really hard at being a good mother but she smokes.  She is not the only culprit in the household.  Her husband Mathew Broderick is also a smoker.  The couple gave up smoking a long time ago but every now and then they fall off the wagon for a week or so.  He freely admits that he used to smoke cigarettes and that he still does.  It is always sad to hear of adults who are smoking and ruining their health.  But it is even sadder when the two adults are parents of an innocent child.  Sarah obviously works exceptionally hard at trying to look good.  But what does it matter if she jeopardises her health?

Mathew should know better.  Part of addiction is denial and both he and his wife should face the facts.  They are the parents of a real little person who deserves his parents to maintain their health.  What is the most shocking of all is that Mathew actually said the bad habit of smoking would probably rub off on their five-year-old son.  If that’s the case Mathew and Sarah, seek help. We can only guess if this is the case they are smoking in the child’s presence.  Life is not just about being successful, earning loads of money and looking good.

Sharon Stone is an award-winning American actress perhaps best known for her role in the 1992 film Basic Instinct. Despite her acting career, Sharon Stone has also caught the attention of the media for her personal life and numerous charity causes.  In 2008 she generated controversy and was criticised for saying that the recent Sichuan earthquake in China was caused by “bad karma” on the part of the Chinese for the way they’ve been treating Tibet and the Dalai Lama, with whom she is good friends. Stone used to be a member of the Church of Scientology, but converted to Tibetan Buddhism after she was introduced to the Dalai Lama by actor Richard Gere. She is also an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church. 

She has been acclaimed for AIDS research support and was awarded the National Centre for Lesbian Rights Spirit Award for supporting the gay and lesbian community and for supporting people with HIV/AIDS. She also performed a duet with Kylie Minogue of her song Can’t Get You Out of My Head at an AIDS benefit in Cannes.  Although having received awards and nominations for her roles, Stone has also been criticised for making bad judgement calls when it comes to certain films. While films like Casino, she earned a Golden Globe Award and a Best Actress Oscar nod, and Basic Instinct, which put her on the map, were very successful, other films like Catwoman and Basic Instinct 2 were said to do more damage to her career than good. 

Britney Spears might get her VMA glory on September 7 this year. This is because the video for “Piece of Me” has gained a nomination for the most coveted Moonman for the Video of the Year award.

This is thanks to the votes that poured in from thousands of Britney fans who are also MTV viewers. The Video of the Year nomination is Spears’ third this year, as she was also nominated for the Best Pop Video and the Best Female Artist last August 15th.

However, Spears is facing some rigid competition for the most sought-after award. This is because the Jonas Brothers’ “Burnin’ Up” clip is also nominated for the Video of the Year, along with “When I Grow Up” from the Pussycat Dolls, “Forever” from Chris Brown and Ting Tings’ “Shut Up and Let Me Go”. Ting Tings is a newcomer to the music scene.

The VMAs this year will be hosted by Russell Brand, a British comic and co-star of Forgetting Sarah Marshall. The show will be featuring live performances from Kid Rock, the Jonas Brothers and Li’l Wayne. It will be broadcast live on September 7th at nine in the evening from the Paramount Pictures Studios in Hollywood.

MTV has also revealed that the nominees for this year’s Best Rock Video category include such talents as the Paramore for their “CrushCrushCrush” video, Slipknot for their “Psychosocial”, Foo Fighters for “The Pretender”, Linkin Park for the “Shadow of the Day”, and Fall Out Boy for “Beat It”.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz may not be due for another two months, but the mom-to-be is already in a nesting mode. She has revealed that her husband and she are “getting the nursery ready”.

“The baby is my main focus right now. I mean, this is definitely the happiest moment in my life,” she added.

Ashlee, who is now 23 years old, and her husband Pete Wentz, who is 29, have both been quite outspoken about the excitement that surrounds the impending arrival of their child. Pete has been reported saying that he “can’t wait to meet the baby”. For her part, Ashlee had shared, “I have the greatest husband. It’s fun to have somebody that I love to do this with”.

Ashlee, a well-known pop singer, is also said to be getting tons of support from friends and family. “My mom and my grandmother [have] given me good motherly advice,” she said. Ashlee also added that “it’s one of those things where your mother instincts kind of kick in right away”.

Pete and Ashlee have yet to reveal the gender of their baby and the pop singer claimed that they haven’t even settled on a name yet. She said, “I don’t think it’s something we’ll decide until the baby comes”.

Meanwhile, Pete, who is the bassist of the band Fall Out Boy, is said to be getting all sorts of parenting tips from a variety of sources.
